Safe Isolation
This course is designed to help engineers know the correct procedure to perform a safe isolation by following guidance from the BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
Description
This course will include both practical and theoretical elements such as:
- Differences between AC and DC voltages
- Electric shock
- How to recognise an electric shock
- How to deal with an electric shock
- Equipment used and checks conducted
- Testing for dead/ confirming isolation
- Testing procedures
The delegate will undertake a competency assessment and upon completion, they will receive a certificate from Training 2000.
