The law requires that any individual wishing to erect, alter or dismantle scaffolding must be able to prove their competency. The industry-wide accepted proof of competency for operatives is to hold a CISRS Advanced Scaffolder card. To be eligible to apply for this card, candidates must successfully complete the following 3 elements of training: • CISRS Advanced training course • Level 3 QCF National Diploma in Accessing Operations and Rigging (Construction) Scaffolding • CISRS Advanced Skills Test
The aim of the 2 day CISRS Skills Advanced Assessment is a practical assessment in which delegates will be required to erect 2 scaffolding structures in accordance with current regulations. It is designed to assess that the delegate can demonstrate the skills learnt during the CISRS Advanced course
Delegates must have successfully completed a tube and fitting Advanced CISRS scaffolding course & Level 3 NVQ and be able to be able to provide evidence of this training in the form of certificates. Delegates must also have the minimum six months further scaffold experience.
CITB HS&E Test taken within 2 years (or accepted exemption)
