Description
Our coded welder course is independently verified by WQ Inspection and Certification Ltd or WQiC, who are a UKAS accredited Type ‘A’ independent Inspection Body and UKCA Approved Body for issuing permanent joining qualifications in the UK for pressure equipment and other high integrity industries.
Professionally educated, skilled and certified welders improve customer confidence, reduce the need for rework, with its associated costs, whilst improving repeatability, quality and productivity. European standards reinforce the importance of welding competence, placing stringent controls on the industry for the protection of users.
Our one-day course allows you to practice with support on hand from our tutors and then produce your test pieces invigilated by an independent examiner. The course cost include generating the test piece on 6mm mild steel and the submission and appropriate testing of that test piece. Other materials may incur additional cost.
Before booking we suggest you speak to one of our team to establish that you are ready to undertake the welding test or whether an assessment and support day would be advisable.
