CISRS CPD Scaffolder / Advance Scaffolder Renewal
From the 1st July 2017, it is a requirement of the CISRS Training scheme, that CISRS Scaffolders and Advance Scaffolder card holders must attend a 2-day Scaffolder Refresher/ CPD course in order to renew their CISRS cards. Renewal is required every 5 years.
Description
This course has been designed to bring operatives up to date with current standards. Alongside a re-cap on Part 2 training, delegates will receive updates on TG20 and SG4 and will cover subjects such as Anchor Ties, Design Appreciation, Vehicle Safety, Manual Handling, Temporary Edge Protection, System Product updates, PPE, Protection of the Public and Impact Wrenches. All delegates will have this training endorsed onto their renewed CISRS cards.
Training 2000 will apply for CISRS scaffolding cards on behalf of delegates upon course completion (where applicable). If the required information is not received within six months of the course date, delegates must apply directly to CISRS for their card.
CITB Funding
If your business is CITB registered, you could be eligible to claim grants towards scaffolding training costs, helping to significantly reduce your investment. Funding is available for key CISRS courses, supporting you to upskill your workforce cost-effectively.

Prerequisites
To be issued with a CISRS Scaffolder / Advance Scaffolder Card, the scaffolder will undertake (& pass) a Health & Safety Test on the day.
Should the scaffolder not pass the Health & Safety Test, they will be required to undertake a CITB HS&E Test (or provide an accepted exemption). This will be valid for 2 years.
