You should have awareness and experience of scaffolding structures, coming from time spent in your individual industry sector. You’ll be required to confirm this experience by producing a CV.

From the 1st July 2017, it is a requirement of the CISRS Training scheme, that CISRS Scaffolders and Advance Scaffolder card holders must attend a 2-day Scaffolder Refresher/ CPD course in order to renew their CISRS cards. Renewal is required every 5 years.

This unit identifies the training and development required in order that the Student can demonstrate that they are competent in being able to: Carry out the assembly of a range of electronic components such as resistors (fixed and variable), capacitors (fixed and variable), diodes, transistors and other semiconductor devices, integrated circuits (analogue and digital), miniature transformers, switches, indicators, wire links and a range of connectors, spacers and brackets to form various types of circuits.

This unit develops the skills and knowledge required to carry out hand fitting activities safely and effectively. Learners will prepare for tasks by obtaining and interpreting relevant information, drawings, and documentation while following health and safety requirements. They will use a range of hand tools and powered equipment to complete practical tasks using various materials to specification. Learners will also complete SOPs and knowledge-based assessments to demonstrate their understanding.

The 1 day course is for operatives who carry out onsite Labouring duties in support of Scaffolding operations. The holder of a CISRS Trainee Scaffolder or CISRS Scaffolding labourer card will have current Health and Safety knowledge and the required skills to carry out their duties in a safe manner.

The 10-day Part 2 course is the second part of the required CISRS training for the Scaffolder card. Part 2 can only be accessed when Part 1 has been successfully completed, and 6 months experience has been gained following the Part 1 course. A second Trainee card can be applied for.

We provide employees with more than just a qualification. We develop both their industry skills and knowledge for immediate application in the workplace which maximises return on investment. Candidates will be required to attend Training 2000 one day a week. You can choose either a Tuesday or Friday once booked.
